4lbs. wafer-thin lean beef (top or bottom round or rump roast) 
            Dressing (below) 
            onions 
            bay leaves 
            bread crumbs 
						 
        		Dressing: 
						 
        		7 medium to large onions, chopped and fried in oil 
        		salt to taste 
        		1 ¾ cups bread crumbs 
        		3/8 cup grated romano cheese 
        		This dressing can also be used for briciole or stuffed pork chops 
        		 
        		Dot Crisco shortening on small "triangles" of meat. Fill with dressing and
        		roll up. Alternate with slices of onion on skewer, putting a bay leaf at
        		each end and in the middle of large skewers. Spread skewers with Crisco and
        		coat with bread crumbs. Broil 5 minutes each side or until done.
